Getting to care
Need a ride to your medical appointment?
If getting there is the reason appointments get missed, that is something we can fix. Eligible Medi-Cal members can get rides to and from covered medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy visits at no cost.

What this usually feels like
- Rescheduling care because there is no ride.
- Buses that do not work with a wheelchair, a cast, or a newborn.
- Long trips to a specialist in another city.
- Getting to the pharmacy after a discharge and having no way there.
Formally, this service is Medical Transportation (NEMT / NMT). You do not need to know the program name to ask for help.
What we do

We arrange the ride
Trips to and from covered appointments are scheduled for you, including return trips.

Wheelchair-accessible vans, gurney transport, or a sedan — matched to how you actually travel.
Paperwork handled
When a ride needs a provider form or plan approval, Atlas coordinates it instead of handing it to you.
Coordinated with your care
Rides are booked around the appointments your care team is already tracking.
